Welcome to Slime RNG — one of the most addictive idle games on Roblox. Whether you just joined for the first time or you're returning after a break, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know in your first 30 minutes. Follow these steps and you'll be well ahead of most new players.

What is Slime RNG?

Slime RNG is a Roblox idle game where you roll for slimes of varying rarities. Each slime produces Goop — the main currency — at different rates. The rarer the slime, the more Goop it generates per hour. Your goal is to collect increasingly rare slimes, upgrade your setup, and eventually reach the endgame content through Rebirth (Prestige). The game is heavily luck-based, but smart play can dramatically improve your odds.

Your First Rolls

Open the Roll Menu
Click the big "Roll" button in the center of your screen. Your first roll is free and will always give you a basic Slime.

Collect Your Goop
Your slime immediately starts producing Goop. Click the collect button or wait for it to auto-collect. Use this Goop to buy more rolls.

Keep Rolling
Spend your Goop on rolls. Your first goal is to get a Lucky Slime (1 in 10,000 odds) — it gives a passive +10% Luck boost that helps all future rolls.

Equip Your Best Slime
Always keep your highest-rarity slime equipped. Higher rarity = more Goop per hour = faster progression.

Check Your Inventory
Open your inventory to see all slimes you've collected. You can sell duplicates for bonus Goop.

Get a Lucky Slime

Priority #1. The Lucky Slime (1 in 10,000) gives +10% Luck passively. This stacks with potions and makes every future roll better.

Zones unlock new biomes and better roll tables. Zone 3 opens the Volcano Zone where Fire Slimes spawn.

Set Up AFK Farming

Before you log off, make sure your best slime is equipped and auto-collect is enabled. You'll wake up to a pile of Goop.

Pro Tip: Don't Sell Your First Rare

When you get your first Rare or Epic slime, resist the urge to sell it for Goop. Equip it instead — the Goop production boost will earn you far more over time than the one-time sell value.

Redeeming Codes

Find the Codes Button
Look for the "Codes" button on the left side of your screen, usually represented by a gift or ticket icon.

Enter the Code
Type or paste the code exactly as shown — codes are case-sensitive. Check our Codes page for all currently active codes.

Claim Your Reward
Hit "Redeem" and your reward (usually Luck Potions or Goop) will be added to your inventory automatically.

Use Potions Wisely
Luck Potions are time-limited. Use them during active play sessions when you're rolling frequently, not while AFK.

Most codes are only valid for a limited time — sometimes just a few days. Bookmark our Codes page and check it daily to never miss a free reward.

Setting Up AFK

Equip Your Best Slime
Before going AFK, always make sure your highest Goop/hr slime is equipped in the main slot.

Enable Auto-Collect
Turn on auto-collect in the settings menu. This ensures Goop is collected automatically while you're away.

Use a Goop Multiplier
If you have any Goop Multiplier items, activate them before going AFK for maximum passive income.

Check Your Storage Cap
Make sure your Goop storage isn't full — if it fills up, you stop earning. Upgrade storage if needed.

Leave the Game Running
For best results, leave Roblox running in the background. The game continues to generate Goop even when minimized.
